Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo Returns to Colorado Springs with Full Week of Western Action and Military Tributes

The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is set to return to Colorado Springs July 14-18, bringing five days of professional rodeo competition, military recognition events, family activities and Western tradition to the Norris Penrose Event Center. The rodeo, which has been a Colorado Springs tradition since 1937, continues its long-standing mission of supporting military members and their families, with proceeds benefiting military quality-of-life programs since 1946.
This year's event will feature nightly performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. from Tuesday through Saturday, along with matinee performances at 12:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Fans can expect professional rodeo events including bull riding, barrel racing, saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling and more. Grounds open at 4 p.m. for evening performances and 10 a.m. for matinees, allowing attendees time to enjoy vendors, food, family activities and the Fan Zone before the action begins.

Military Discounts and Recognition
Military appreciation remains a central focus of the rodeo. Active-duty service members and veterans can receive discounted grandstand tickets for every performance by selecting the military pricing option during purchase and presenting a military ID at entry. Military discounts range from $2 to $5 off adult grandstand tickets depending on the performance.
The Friday matinee on July 17 is designated as Military Family Day and will honor the 10th Special Forces Group, while other performances recognize Fort Carson, the Air Force Academy, NORAD, USNORTHCOM and other military organizations that play a significant role in the Pikes Peak region.

Tickets are available through the rodeo's official ticketing website and Norris Penrose Event Center. Organizers caution fans to purchase only through official sources to avoid fraudulent or resale tickets. Ticket prices begin at $25 for select performances, with premium performances and reserved seating available at higher price points.
