Wildfire season is once again demonstrating how quickly fire can move close to home, with a roughly 10-acre wildfire reported Monday near Fountain. A summer festival in Colorado Springs turned into a major medical response Saturday after dozens of attendees experienced heat-related illnesses during the Tacos and Tequila Festival at UCHealth Park. The Colorado Springs Fire Department reported that 72 people were treated for heat-related illness during the event.
