Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8: Foster the Future Fun Run
Fountain-Fort Carson School District 8 is inviting the community to lace up their running shoes and step into history at the Foster the Future Fun Run, a 5K fun run and walk taking place Saturday, September 26, at Trojan Arena in Fountain.
The event, themed “From the Frontier to the Future,” encourages participants to dress as their favorite historical figure while enjoying a morning of fitness, fun and community spirit. The race begins at 9 a.m., with packet pickup from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Participants are asked to arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.
More than just a community race, the event will support programs serving local families. Proceeds will benefit the Fountain-Fort Carson Food Pantry, Clothing Closet and suicide prevention efforts.
Early registration is open through September 12 for those who want to guarantee a race T-shirt. T-shirts are available for participants ages 5 and older.
The race will take place at Trojan Arena, 10725 Trojan Pt., Fountain. Community members can learn more and register at ffc8.org/fosterfuture5k.
Whether you're running, walking or cheering from the sidelines, the Foster the Future Fun Run offers a chance to celebrate Fountain's history while helping build a stronger future for the community.
