EL PASO COUNTY, Colo. — An 18-year-old man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he fired shots at a residence in the Security-Widefield area last month, prompting an extensive investigation by the El Paso County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were dispatched to the 4400 block of Witches Hollow Lane on the evening of May 26 after receiving multiple reports of gunfire in the neighborhood. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers located a residence with its front door open and established a perimeter around the property while conducting a safety assessment.

Three individuals eventually exited the home without injury. During their investigation, deputies discovered evidence indicating shots had been fired at the residence, including bullet damage to the front door and shell casings found in the driveway.

According to investigators, witness statements and security camera footage revealed that an altercation had occurred at the home's front entrance shortly before the shooting. The suspect reportedly fled the area before deputies arrived.

Detectives with the Sheriff's Office took over the investigation, reviewing surveillance footage and conducting interviews in the days that followed. Their investigation led to the identification of the suspect as Kaream Hosea Supreme Garrison, 18.

An arrest warrant was issued on June 8. Detectives later confirmed that Garrison had already been taken into custody by the Colorado Springs Police Department on unrelated parole violation charges.

Garrison is now being held at the El Paso County Jail and faces three counts of attempted murder, along with charges of prohibited use of a weapon and possession of a weapon by a previous offender.

El Paso County Sheriff Joseph Roybal praised the efforts of deputies and detectives involved in the case, noting that investigators worked quickly to identify the suspect and bring the case forward.

Authorities reported that no injuries occurred during the incident despite the gunfire. The investigation remains active.

Court records indicate Garrison is being held on a $650,000 bond. Under Colorado law, bond amounts and release conditions are determined by the court.

As with all criminal cases, the charges against Garrison are allegations, and he is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
